Javier Colon was a contestant on Season 1 of The Voice. At the time of auditioning, Javier was 33 years old and was from Stratford, Connecticut. Javier was the winner of Season 1.

The Voice

Blind Auditions

In the Blind Auditions, Javier was the 14th artist to audition and sang "Time After Time" by Cyndi Lauper. All four of the coaches turned their chairs around but Javier chose to join Team Adam.

Battle Rounds

In the Battle Rounds, Javier was paired with Angela Wolff and they were given the song "Stand by Me" by Ben E. King. Adam chose Javier as the winner of the battle and Angela was eliminated from the competition.


In the 2nd week of the Quarterfinals, Javier performed 8th and sang "Angel" by Sarah McLachlan. He also performed with the rest of Team Adam and their coach to "With a Little Help from My Friends" by The Beatles. Javier was saved by the public and moved to the next stage of the competition with fellow team member Casey Weston.


In the Semi-finals, Javier performed 6th and sang "Fix You" by Coldplay. He also performed with the other 7 contestants to a "Faith/Freedom '90" medley. Javier advanced to the Finals and Casey was eliminated from the competition.


In the Finals, each contestant had to perform an original song and a duet with their coach. Javier's first performance was his original song called "Stitch by Stitch". He then dueted with Adam Levine to "Man in the Mirror" by Michael Jackson. During the Finals results show Javier sang with Stevie Nicks to "Landslide" and was later announced the winner of the competition.
